Ready for Adoption: Custard!

Captured roaming the desert in Kuwait after a few days of trying to get hold of him, Custard came to the farm/hostel.

He was clearly shy of people and dogs. Some volunteers even thought he was unwell as he lay curled up, seemingly ignoring the world.

However, Custard recently went into a foster home with initially 5 other dogs and now 3 other dogs. Here, Custard’s sweet personality has started to shine through.

Although submissive, he is keen to play with the other dogs and loves cuddly toys. Still shy of people; he doesn’t like people walking around near him, but is very confident if one is sitting or especially lying flat on the ground.

He will eat out of his foster mom’s hand and wags his tail as if pleased to see her when he sees her. We are hopeful that Custard will come around and just needs time to develop trust with humans again.

It’s best if Custard is in a home with another dog(s) so he can continue to gain confidence and trust humans! It is likely that he is no more than 2 y/o. He is microchipped and up to date on his shots.

Custard looks to be a Spitz or Spitz mix. Custard’s adoption fee is $500 with a reimbursement fee of $75 for neuter. Home visit and reference checks apply.
