WE HAVE PUPPIES COMING!!

FIVE adorable Rottie-mix pups found with prego mama in the desert are now AVAILABLE for ADOPTION.

Below is the original post for our dear Nessy and her pups.

*********
Yesterday just like every other day we went to the farm to deliver and pick up, it was a very hot day scorching sun we could only imagine the suffering of poor dogs dying in the heat and decided to take a drive in the desert area where some locals set up tents for live stock. We turned off a random path and drove around for almost half an hour randomly trying to avoid getting stuck in the sand in a small car. Not knowing that something greater than us was actually pulling us towards a particular spot.

Suddenly a head popped out from a hole under this metallic platform. Keep in mind it was mid day and the temperature at the time was 47 in a dry desert. To our surprise it was this almost collapsed rottweiler. She had tried her best to dig down deep in the sand as far as possible to just try and reduce her body temperature but obviously this was making no difference.

We immediately set her free as we tried to think of what to do with a farm already full of big dogs and homes overloaded. We warned the worker there not to tie her up and that we would be back to check but as we drove off she ran after our car using every last bit of energy in her. Sarah Moody Assayed started to cry and we knew we had to stop and let her in. We headed to our hostel with no idea of where to put her as every last room and partition is full, but at 9pm Nessy surprised us with puppies!!!!

As you can see, it was fate. Fate lead the rescuers to Nessy and she knew enough to chase them for help. As a result we have 4 gorgeous girls and a cutie boy ready to come to the US! Nessy is a Rottweiler, daddy unknown.

ANNOUNCEMENT: ARRIVALS!

Azalea

Azalea was found roaming the desert together with her friend Tori (who was adopted last year)! Azalea is finally making her freedom flight out of Kuwait to America at the end of the week! Azalea is estimated to be about 2 y/o and is most likely a Lab/Saluki Mix. She is fixed and up to date on her shots. Azalea loves people and gets along with the dogs in Kuwait that she interacts with daily! If you can give Azalea a permanent home, please contact us ASAP! Her adoption fee is $650. Home visit and references required for adoption.

Marysol

Looking for URGENT foster/adopter! Marysol was brought to the Royal Animal Hospital in Kuwait by a local Kuwait lady. She was then left there and the lady did not want her back. Poor Marysol was used by a breeder and left outdoors. The vet says she is about 3 y/o but she looks older because of the harsh conditions she had been forced to endure.

The vet said that with a different climate and good nutrition, Marysol will start to feel and look better. She has some food allergies too. When the written results of the allergy test come in, we will share it with her foster/adopter. Will you help provide Marysol the golden retriever, a loving home? Her adoption fee is $650. A home visit and reference checks will be required as part of the adoption.

Safira

One of our favorites, Safira is coming to America! Please spread the word that we need a foster / adopter for her urgently! She’ll be arriving on March 30. Safira is about 1.5 y/o, a Spitz mix, fixed, up to date on shots, and is microchipped. She was found roaming in a residential area. Safira is extremely friendly to people and dogs alike. She is very submissive and will give her belly in an instant after meeting you for one second! She seems to always be happy and smiling. And she loves to wag her tail!! Her adoption fee is $500. Home visit and reference checks will be required

Tic Tac

ADOPTION PENDING! Looking for a teacup doggy? Tic Tac is the answer! Tic Tac, a chihuahua was rescued from the horrible Kuwait Friday Market. He is between 2-3 y/o. Loves people, ok with other dogs, but will be fine being an only dog. You can carry Tic Tac in your bag, he is no more than 3 lbs! Yes, Tiny! Tic Tac comes with his shots! Looking for a foster or better yet, an adopter ASAP! He’ll be arriving on Friday March 30. Adoption fee $500. Home visit and references required.

Sakson

ADOPTION PENDING! Please help SHARE! Time is of the essence! Sakson the beautiful Bearded Collie is ready to come to America! We need a COMMITTED foster or adopter! Sakson was roaming the streets of Kuwait for about 2 years before our sister team, Become a Foster Guardian in Kuwait and our friends from Mission K9 Rescue managed to rescue him last year! Sakson is majestic looking and possess a certain sense of self-confidence now that he has been with his foster Dad for several months. Sakson walks nicely on a leash. He is extremely intelligent and affectionate! He’ll make a really good family dog! Sakson is up to date on his shots and is estimated to be about 2.5 years old. His adoption fee is $650. A home visit and reference checks will be required.

Arby

Arby (named after Arby’s restaurant because he was found by one in Kuwait) is possibly about 9-10 months old (vet said). He gets along with dogs and is snuggly with his humans. His current foster says he is crate trained and loves being around people. He loves to chew on bones and spends time with interactive toys when left on his own! Adopt him! How can anyone resist those awesome ears!! (All the better to hear your commands!!) His adoption fee is $500. A home visit and reference checks are required.

Roo and Boo

Roo and Boo are 2 of the 12 rescues from the hoarders’ house in late December. They are a bonded pair and do not go anywhere without each other, they are both affectionate, loving, & quiet dogs. All these two ladies are looking for is human love ❤. Boo is calm and considerate of her sister giving her first hand in everything, she enjoys taking care of Roo and making sure her needs are met.

Boo is πŸ’―% house broken and loves to play ball and fetch. Roo is still working on doing her business outside, she prefers to sit on her humans’ lap and observe. They would do well in a quiet home and don’t really need long walks or much exercise, just a lap to lay on. They are good with other dogs, children and cats!

They are both still in Kuwait. If you are interested in adopting or committed to fostering BOTH, they can travel to the US. Their adoption fee is $750 (altogether). The girls have been spayed and up to date on their shots. A home visit and reference checks are required for adoption/fostering.

ANNOUNCEMENT: PUPPIES COMING SOON

In Adaliya, Kuwait, four boys ruthlessly abused four puppies as onlookers laughed and posted videos to Instagram. Rescuers quickly came to their aid, made reports, and requested the school hold the boys accountable. In an amazing show of progressive thinking, the school not only punished the boys, made them publicly apologize, but also helped cover the vet bills. Local firefighters helped recover the 4th pup who was frightened and got stuck hiding in the steps of a building. All four were admitted to a local vet where rescuers took responsibility for them.

So where are they now? READY to be ADOPTED by YOU! These pups will need loving homes and will be coming to the USA through World Animal Guardians! We need YOU to open your home as a foster or adopter. These small souls have been through so much, and now we ask for you to help us give them the life they deserve!

Sugar

This cheeky boy is Sugar, the most confident of all the pups. He is really lovely and the most tolerant of being picked up and hugged. I think with a little training he will easily leave behind the trauma from his early days. He is really intelligent. And very sweet and loving.

Sundae

This little cutie girl is Sundae. Although nervous, at times, of me as the alpha, she is the favourite of my children because she approaches them eagerly for love and cuddles. She gets on well with all the dogs as you can see, she is trying to get the treat here from her Saluki brother. As with her siblings, she is really food motivated and so will be trainable I think, when separated from the other puppies.

Oreo

This is Oreo, a very sweet little girl-pup rescued from the boys’ school. She is learning to defend her own corner now with her siblings as you can see. Although timid, if she is in the mood she can be incredibly loving to her human family and her loving eyes make your heart swell!

Cinnabon

This lovely little girl is Cinnabon. She has transformed the most from being very timid to quietly confident and seeks out love and cuddles when she can. She has a non-dominant personality and will make a really lovely pet. As with all the puppies, she is brilliant with kids, cats and other dogs.

ANNOUNCEMENT: CATS COMING SOON!

Four cats planned to be heading to the πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ very soon. We need fosters or adopters in the Annapolis MD area before they get here. They are fully vetted spayed and neutered. Please let us know if you would be interested. These cats have been waiting along time to get here. Let’s make this happen.

Love

Love, male, neutered and vaccinated. Very sweet natured and playful good with other cats and dogs. Love is a rescue from the brutal Friday market in Kuwait. He was rescued Jan 2017 just in time before being sold off even though he was sick at the time, who knows what could have become of him.

Twilight

Twilight, male, neutered and vaccinated. More of a lazy cat but enjoys playtime and can be a rough player (preferably no younger children) good with other cats and dogs. Twilight also rescued from the brutal Friday market area, after being dumped. He was lucky to have been picked up by the right people where he spent 2 years waiting for his forever home.

Moony

Moony, male, neutered and vaccinated. Very active and playful, he would need a play mate and enjoys human cuddles. Good with other cats and dogs. Moony was surrendered by his owners who had 9 others, their reason was 19 is too much!! What difference would one more make! Turns out he was plastered in ring worm from head to toe which to some people is considered a death sentence for cats. Luckily his rescuers didn’t think twice and took him in. He has been with BFG for around 6 months now.

Mellow

Mellow, female, vaccinated but not yet spayed. She will need to be before getting adopted. Mellow is a gentle affectionate cat always looking g for cuddles, she would do good around children cats and dogs. Mellow is a rescue from the brutal Friday market. She was found dumped behind the shops half dead. She was pregnant at the time and couldn’t be spayed. She had 6 kittens who all found lovely homes in the USA. This girl is the perfect cat if your lonely and need company

ANNOUNCEMENT: ARRIVALS!

Fourteen dogs finally arrived on US soil this evening after experiencing an arduous time trying to get on their freedom flights out of Kuwait over the last several days! We are extremely glad to welcome them to America!

Dasha and Aurora are two beautiful doggies who had been waiting for a little more than 2 years for their chance to leave Kuwait! Why so long? They have a physical disability. Adopters generally don’t want to take a chance on special needs dogs. Well, Dasha has a home lined up and Aurora is waiting on hers! She has an awesome personality and we hope she finds a great warm home soon!

We have several puppies looking for forever homes too! Most are currently in foster homes currently.

Big thank you to Mission K9 Rescue, Naja Foundation, and Lynne for helping out with the freedom flights of these doggies! These doggies are definitely Movin’ On Up!
