ANNOUNCEMENT: DONATIONS NEEDED!
April and May have been heavy months for vet care for us. We have spent literally thousands of dollars on vet care, and we are still dealing with some problems that will need follow-ups and more tests. We try our best to make our friends healthy before leaving our care, and sometimes that can be a very expensive burden. But this is why we do what we do. To give new life to these rescued souls who have possibly never known kindness. Perhaps had never felt “well” a day in their lives until coming to us. Please help cover the costs to make them better. Your donations are directly saving them. We are an all-volunteer army of animal advocates, and the only benefit we get is seeing them healthy and happy in new homes.
Thank you all for your continued help and support!

FUNDING NEEDED: IVAN HAS PANCREATITIS

Our little lamb, Ivan, has been settling in so sweetly with his new mommy, but he had been sore in his abdomen since we brought him to her. He had been treated with an antibiotic for a UTI, so we assumed the soreness was from his tummy disagreeing with it. But he became snappy at his new mom and didn’t want to get up or go out or pee. We became concerned and took him to the Dr Negola in MD who found he had pancreatitis and a urinary pH so high that it was burning his bladder wall. We don’t know the total cost yet but we do know he will need to be hospitalized for at least tonight and maybe longer. If you can donate to help Ivan, it would be truly appreciated.

ANNOUNCEMENT: FUNDING NEEDED FOR LENNON!
Lennon needs URGENT help! He was diagnosed with Parvo today. Found last week at the horrible,
Disgusting Friday Market, Lennon was so full of parasites he couldn’t defecate for days. After being dewormed he seemed to be on the mend, but he suddenly took a turn for the worse. Lennon has been exposed to Parvo like thousands of others at the market. He can’t be treated without money and we are totally out! We are praying his friend Beethoven doesn’t get Parvo also, but he is not in the clear yet. PLEASE - if you can urgently donate, we need to treat Lennon ASAP for his survival!
Please donate here!

ANNOUNCEMENT: DONATIONS NEEDED!

Aurora
After being found near the Iraq/Kuwait desert over 2 years ago, Aurora is finally in the USA. She was paralyzed and left for dead, but our friends in Kuwait, BFG Team, never gave up on her. Never. For 2 years they continued to care for her, always hoping there would be something better for her than sand and heat. A husky deserves better than a desert. Recently we were able to help her get to the USA (thank you, Lynne and several others!) but that's not all we want to do! We want to give her the best possible quality of life.Aurora went to the vet for preliminary X-rays. One of her rear legs is broken, the bone is twisted entirely around, and then healed in that position. She has lost all feeling in that leg. However, the other has total feeling and some movement! Her spine has a very bad bend where it is possibly broken/fuzed. We are not sure if she will ever walk again, but we want to give it our best try. And if not, we want to make it easier for her to get around. Possibly amputation of the severely broken leg. A wheel cart has been sponsored for her (the one she had in Kuwait was too big). But we need a sponsor for her therapy sessions. This could be around $500 a month depending on how much therapy we can do with her. Also, it would be wonderful to get an MRI and see if there is a possibility that she could have her spine repaired.
If you would like to be Aurora's Angel, please post below or email us! We need a committed sponsor! If you can donate, even a little, please donate here and type "Aurora" in the notes. If you feel you are the perfect home for our very special girl, please email us as well. Thank you for all the support and kindness. It doesn't go unnoticed or unappreciated.
German Shepherd
We are asking for urgent donations to help save this boy. He was left on a hot roof in Kuwait, and barked constantly for help. A neighbor got tired of him barking and shot him in the back. He was then dumped at the Royal Animal Hospital by his owner who didn’t want to pay for his operation. The docs at RAH are not sure if his paralysis will be permanent but he needs urgent surgery. We need to raise 800KD to save him! That’s over $2,500! Please donate here and put “German Shepherd” in the notes.Monday, November 13, 2017
FUNDING NEEDED FOR "SMASHED PAW"

Dear Friends and Supporters - the Kuwait rescue team found this little baby waiting to die. His paw looks to have been purposely smashed. He’s currently in pain and all they can do is make him comfortable until we have enough money to take him to the vet. We know we can’t save them all, but if you were there and saw him suffering, could you leave him? Please donate to help save this small baby - he deserves a chance, too. Write “smashed paw” in the donation notes so we can make sure it goes to him. Thank you always, as your support makes it possible to help them.

ANNOUNCEMENT: BRING SUELI HOME!

For 7 months, rescuers have been trying to save this poor soul. Abused and hit by a car, this Labrador had been left out on the street to die in the blistering summer heat of Kuwait. We are in complete disbelief that this pet dog had been able to survive for so long. The street dogs in Kuwait struggle in the heat, but it is unheard of for a pet to survive in temperatures reaching 140F.
Clearly this boy is a Survivor. He wants to live. He was so scared of the trauma that he'd been put through, that he has no trust in people anymore. Rescuers had to track and trap him with a live animal trap, just to attempt a rescue mission. When a volunteer approached the trap, we knew there was hope. Sulei raised his head, wagged his tail, and somehow knew his life was about to change.
A kind man paid for his initial vet visit and X-rays, which show he has a complex fracture in his hind leg. There are 3 clear breaks all the way down his leg. He must have been in excruciating pain. He is currently in foster care in Kuwait, waiting funds to send him to America where he will be adopted and get all the medical care he needs. This fundraiser is to pay for his flight and hopefully some of his medical costs.
