ANNOUNCEMENT: ADOPTIONS!

Sam

The FIRST ADOPTION of 2018 award goes to SAM and his new Dad, Jack! Congratulations on a great new life together! Sam has been waiting for this moment since August when he was transferred to WAG from a local Animal Control. Sam has been waiting and waiting for his forever, and now we know why - there wouldn’t have been a more perfect fit than Jack. I am so happy these two can pal around together. Every dog that comes in is special, but we had grown particularly fond of Sam due to his length of stay and wonderful nature. As I watched them walk away together, they looked like they had been together their whole lives, and I knew that all decisions we make throughout life converge into perfect moments like these - moments which would not have been possible had one thing been done differently. And I know this was meant to be. Thank you, Jack, for giving Sam the life he was meant for and deserving of.
